World-class design defines the buildings, parks and structures of the new Copr Bay district in Swansea. South Wales' newest multi-purpose entertainment and events space, Swansea Arena is a brand-new landmark 3,500 capacity indoor arena in the heart of Copr Bay, and a first for the city. 

The roof garden is a striking feature of the Foster + Partners designed building. A curved opening in the metal roof plane allows natural light into the garden, which offers views across the city and provides a stunning location for outdoor filming. Commissioned, installed and planted by Afan Landscapes.

The Fry Building is a Grade II listed building in the heart of Bristol University’s Clifton Campus. In 2012 it was agreed that the building would be repurposed and transformed into a world-class facility. Afan Landscapes were appointed to carry out the external landscaping upgrade.

The Bells Field project is a transformation of an old grammar school field into a new all activity park for the residents of Coleford. Afan Landscapes were appointed as Principal Contractor to carry out the construction and long term aftercare of the scheme.

This striking new parkland in the centre of the University of Birmingham’s historic campus was completed in January 2019. It provides a unique space for performances, socialising, meeting and studying, while opening up views across the whole campus, as envisaged in the 1920s.
